- Lauren and I have had a pretty tough week. A tragedy struck our work community, Lauren got a bad concussion and hasn’t been able to drive herself anywhere or work, I had finals at SFU, she witnessed a car crash (where she’d been standing seconds prior), and I had to write a really substantial paper while in a really bad headspace (and with a cold!) So tonight we picked up dinner, grabbed the pups, and spent the evening decorating cookies, listening to some good music, talking for hours, and walking outside. I loved how intertwined our lives have remained into adulthood and how, as much as we know what will drive each other crazy, we also know exactly what the other needs most <3Family excursion to our “summer home” to check out the tree lighting on the beach 🎄I was fortunate to be invited to speak on a panel last night with my fellow #KPUCRWR alumni about life and careers post graduation. It was so lovely to go back to the place I spent six(!!) amazing years learning and writing with these amazing folks, and so nice to meet the next cohort of writers going through the program! #anotherselfieI pink I’m going to have a lovely, cozy first Christmas in my placeI thought I’d already taken my quota of #selfieswithfriends for the week, but then they invited me to karaoke 🎤 🤷🏼♀️ #whatsawordforafriendselfie #friendfie #notbymyselfieCommon interests include travel and sushi.Happy birthday to Emma!
